Step 1 of 6Production

The Production Queue

A focused view of what's actually being worked on — sorted by due date and station.

The Production Queue

What to do

Click Production in the side menu, then Queue.

Why it matters

On the dashboard, every job is visible. The queue narrows to what your operators need to do today.
Step 2 of 6Production

Generate operations

For any job, Printcore's AI breaks the work into the discrete operations needed to produce it — print, cut, quality check, package — and estimates time for each.

Generate operations

What to do

Open a job and click Generate Operations. Review the suggested steps and durations. Use + Add Custom Operation if your shop runs an extra step. Click Generate Schedule to commit.

Why it matters

You stop guessing how long a job will take. Every operation is named, sequenced, and time-budgeted so the queue, capacity planning, and production reports stay accurate.
Step 3 of 6Production

Production Overview

A cross-shop view of every job in flight, grouped by station. See bottlenecks at a glance.

Production Overview

What to do

Click the Overview tab. Each card shows a job and the station it's at.

Why it matters

Spot the press that's overloaded or the operator who needs help — before it becomes a missed deadline.
Step 4 of 6Production

Stations

Each press, cutter, and finishing station has a queue of its own — operators see only what's at their station.

Stations

What to do

Set up your stations in Shop Settings → Production Stations, then assign jobs as they enter the production stage.

Why it matters

Operators don't see the noise of the whole shop — just what they need to print, cut, or finish next.
Step 5 of 6Production

Production reports

See how the shop is actually performing — average dwell time per stage, missed deadlines, and where time is going.

app.printcore.ai/reports/production
Production reports

What to do

Click Reports in the side menu, then open Production Analysis.

Why it matters

Operations + real-time updates produce the data here. You can spot the press that's always behind, the finishing step that always slips. Data > opinions.
